Voices of Impact

Voices of Impact is a monthly journal on those in our community that are inspirational.

Knowing that inspiration can be born from the humblest of places.

We are single mothers, birth workers, artists, outspoken advocates, disruptors and the people who are quietly plugging away at life.

All our voices have meaning and deserve to be heard.

This is the point and the spectrum of life.

This is what makes a community and what opens our minds to different perspectives.

Shemana shine a spotlight on new person each month, those who impact the souls within and without these walls.

How do you incorporate rituals into your life?

Lately, I'm inspired by the way that we can incorporate ritual into the everyday moments

What influences your rituals?

Country is what really shows me the way, new ways of being with the waters, with the air, with the more than human kin.

What tools, if any, do you use to support your rituals?

finding different ways to move with her (Country), to listen to her speak to her that help call all parts of me back to this moment, back into connection with her with my ancestors and with the present moment
